  Taoist rituals are usually performed by Taoist priests who have been practicing for many years and have profound magical powers. The requests correspond to a kind of rituals, through which they communicate with the gods and use the gods' power to accomplish the requests. Generally speaking, most of the things that good men and women ask for are praying for blessings, eliminating disasters, and transcending the dead.
