莲溪庙 位于澳门大缆巷新桥永乐戏院旁,始建于清道光年间 (1821—1850年),距今已有二百多年历史。庙名因地而名,澳门地形,宛若莲花,故称莲岛,将内地通澳门之路视为莲花径,径尽处有山拔起,称莲花山,山南有一小溪,流于新桥坊间,称作莲溪,因庙.建于溪之右岸,故称莲溪庙。庙内供奉道教华光大帝、北阴帝君、财神、文昌帝君等诸神。
Lin Kai Temple is located next to the Yongle Theater in Rua da Ponte Nova, Macau. It was built during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty (1821-1850) and has a history of more than 200 years. The temple is named after the location. The terrain of Macau resembles a lotus flower, so it is called Lian Dao (Lotus Island). The road from the mainland to Macau is regarded as the Lotus Path. At the end of the path, there is a mountain that rises up, called Lianhua Mountain. There is a small stream in the south of the mountain that flows through the Xinqu area and is called Lianxi. Because the temple was built on the right bank of the stream, it is called Lianxi Temple. The temple enshrines the Taoist gods Huaguang Dadi, Beiyin Dijun, Caishen, Wenchang Dijun, etc. was built on the right bank of the stream, so it is called Lianxi Temple. The temple enshrines the gods of Taoism, including the Emperor of the Great Light, the Emperor of the North, the God of Wealth, and the Emperor of Literature.
