Jiayuguan Wenchang Pavilion, a Taoist temple. It is located outside the east city gate of Jiayuguan in the southwest of Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. It is also known as Wenchang Hall. It is said to have been built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the second year of the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty (1882). It has two floors, a double-eaved hipped roof, lattice doors and windows on the upper floor, surrounded by a veranda, surrounded by vermilion-painted wooden pillars, surrounded by carved wooden balustrades, surrounded by a lower veranda, and a wooden ladder built to access the upper floor. The pavilion has a total floor area of more than 100 square meters and was used to worship the god Wenchang.
嘉峪关文昌阁 道教宫观。在甘肃省嘉峪关市西南的嘉峪关东瓮城外。亦称文昌殿。相传创建于明代,清道光二年(1882)曾重建。上下两层,重檐歇山顶,上层有花格门窗,四周施廊,朱漆木柱环绕,木刻花栏围之,下层回廊环绕,并建木梯,可登上层。该阁总建筑面积一百余平方米,为旧时祭祀文昌神之所。
