Taipei Changfu Temple, a Taoist temple. Located at No. 1, Changfu Street, Xiuchuan Village, Sanxia Township, Taipei County, Taiwan Province. According to the “Taiwan Temple Panorama,” it was built in the 34th year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1769), and has since been destroyed and rebuilt three times due to natural and man-made disasters. It now covers an area of 500 square meters and has a five-gate, three-hall layout. The five gates refer to the Longmen Gate on the east side of the front hall, the Humen Gate on the west side, and the three central gates in the middle. The three halls are the front hall, the main hall, and the back hall. They are all built with stone foundations and wooden roofs, and have the characteristics of traditional Chinese temple architecture. The beauty and refinement of their architecture, statues, carvings, and paintings have earned them the reputation of being the “Oriental Temple of Art.” The main deity worshipped in the main hall of the temple is Qingshui Zushi.
