北武当山 道教名山。位于山西省方山县城东南三十公里处的下昔乡境内。耸立群山环抱之中,海拔 1958 余米,四周陡壁悬崖,唯有一条崎岖小径可通峰顶。山上苍松挺拔,古木参天,山石奇观,比比皆是,风景秀美,素称三晋第一名山,历为道教胜地。从下而上,分别建有万神庙、灵官庙、鲁班亭、黑虎庙、二王庙、火神庙、玄天坊、真武阁、金顶等。其创造年代不详,据山上碑石记载,山顶建筑唐时曾被焚毁,现存部分建筑均为近年新建。山间以道教命名的名胜有接神坡、仙人指路松、天梯、石羊朝圣、舍身崖、飞来石、龟蛇斗、朝阳洞等。现为山西吕梁地区著名的风景名胜区,为道教活动场所。

Beiwudangshan is a famous Taoist mountain. It is located in the territory of Xiayixiang, 30 kilometers southeast of Fangshan County, Shanxi Province. It is surrounded by towering mountains, with an altitude of more than 1,958 meters. There are steep cliffs all around, and there is only a rugged trail that leads to the top of the mountain. The mountain is covered with tall pines and ancient trees, and there are many strange rocks. It is known as the most beautiful mountain in Shanxi and has always been a Taoist attraction. From the bottom up, there are the Temple of Ten Thousand Gods, the Temple of the Spirit Official, the Pavilion of Lu Ban, the Temple of the Black Tiger, the Temple of the Two Kings, the Temple of the God of Fire, the Hall of the Dark Heaven, the Pavilion of the True Martial God, the Golden Roof, etc. The year of its creation is unknown. According to the inscriptions on the stone tablets on the mountain, the buildings on the top of the mountain were burned down during the Tang Dynasty, and the existing buildings were all built in recent years. The scenic spots named after Taoism in the mountains include the God-Receiving Slope, the Immortal's Guiding Pine, the Heavenly Ladder, the Pilgrimage of the Stone Sheep, the Cliff of Self-Sacrifice, the Flying Stone, the Battle of the Turtle and the Snake, and the Chaoyang Cave. It is now a famous scenic area in the Luliang area of Shanxi Province and a place for Taoist activities.
