  据说,大脚仙本姓朱,原是明朝唐王的小儿子,生母江钿钿,是唐王的侍妾。母亲怀他方七个月,唐王遇害,钿钿毁去容貌,混在难民妇女队中逃难,有吉王已化去的师父伍冲虚显灵,引导她进入云南,居住在鸡足山的深处。大脚仙七岁时,母亲逝世,幸好有位龙树山人又称鸡足道者入云南居住,将他收养。因他原是王孙,所以改姓为王。

  十年之后,太守侄子不知去了哪里,人们都怀疑是大脚仙度他成仙了。
