Zhang Sanfeng returned to Wudang, known as the Hidden Immortal. Recently, Li Zi province power at home and abroad, you hold this spell to join him, that prominent and high ranking can be obtained immediately." Guo was very happy to hear this, so he bowed down and asked him to pass on the magic, and then bowed down again to thank him.
When Guo arrived at the capital, he first performed the Five Thunders Technique to Li Zisheng, who also believed in the technique and was introduced to him as a fellow Daoist. Guo took the opportunity to smile proudly and boasted, "That's not all, I also have the Six Thunders technique, which the person who taught me said could summon beautiful fairies from heaven. As soon as Li heard this, he urged Guo Chengxian to perform it quickly. There is a Taoist priest Deng Chang En, lucky to achieve the Secretary of the high official, he is extremely sinister and vicious, once assassinated a person to death. When Deng was a Taoist priest, he heard that there was a Ma Xianweng in the west of Taihang Mountain, who could shoot ghosts with magic arrows, and people went to him to ask for help, and it really worked. So he sent his disciple, Chen Crooked Er, to ask for Ma Xian Weng's archery skills.
Chen crooked child was ordered to go on the road, traveling to the middle of the road, I ran into a Taoist, look dignified, holding a long bow, waist inserted seven arrows (long bow means "Zhang", seven arrows, means "Sanfeng" two strokes seven strokes), claiming to be able to shoot at ghosts, a hundred rounds a hundred hits. Chen half-believe him, because it is the same way, and follow the same. At night, in a broken temple for the night. Here, the forest is deep and dark, bamboo in the ancient wood came chirping ghosts, Chen crooked very scared, the Taoist said: "Do not be afraid, you can just look at my magic arrow." Then in the window gap in an arrow shot out, only to hear the ghost wailed and fled, Chen this time greatly admired. The next morning, he bowed down and begged the Taoist to pass on his magic. The Taoist was generous, and immediately gave him the art of archery.
When Chen Crooked Child came back to see his master, he lied and said, "Ma Xian Weng went out and could not be found. Fortunately, thanks to his master's blessing, he met the immortal on the road and passed on the art of archery." Chang En was overjoyed to hear this. That night, the moonlight was hazy, and the sound of ghosts in the garden of the mansion had risen again, so he hurriedly asked Chen Xianyi to show his divine skill. Chang En himself turned to the corridor and watched from the opposite floor. Chen was on guard and suddenly saw a ghost flying into the opposite building, so Chen drew up his strong bow and shot an arrow. At the sound of the arrow, a loud cry was heard, and something fell down in response to the string. Busy light up the candle flame to see, but it is Deng Changen, fortunately, the arrow did not hit the vitals, only shot the left arm. Back to find Chen Crooked Child, has long escaped every day.
张三丰归隐武当，人称隐仙。他最恨某些道士，修了几年道，学得了一丁半点秘术，便借此去巴结权贵，换取荣华富贵。偏偏明朝中期的几个皇帝都崇信道教。比如嘉靖皇帝，二十年不早朝，几乎天天在宫中做醮事，给仙上章奏。章奏用的文书有专门格式，称为“青词”。严嵩等人青词写得好，深得皇上宠爱，高居相位，人称“青词宰相”。至于得宠的道士，有的竟然被封为三公。因此，社会上一班阿谀奉承之徒，纷纷混进道士、方士队伍，想走终南捷径，捞取荣华富贵。张三丰对此十分愤慨，常常施术戏弄惩罚这群道门败类。后人搜集这类故事共有七个，称做“七戏方士”。这里只讲其中的两个。
方士郭成显，原是个无赖。学过一种称为五雷法的道术，能役使五方雷霆，斩妖捉怪，呼风唤雨，据说开始时颇有灵验，因此想入京师借术图个进身之阶。张三丰在途中候着他来，自称“赛天师”一见面就对郭说：“你身上藏着五雷正法的秘诀吧?”郭一听，知道他未卜先知，定是神人，不敢隐瞒，连声称“是”。赛天师说：“我还有‘六雷法’要赐给你，只要依法施行，能够召来天仙，化为美女，跨上鸾凤，游戏人间。近来李孜省权倾中外，你挟着这法术去投靠他，那显赫高官马上可以获得。”郭一听大喜，急忙叩头请他传法，事讫又叩头辞谢。
郭到了京师，先向李孜省演五雷法，孜省也信此术，引为同道。郭趁机得意地笑着自夸：“还不止这些哩，我还有六雷法，传授此法 的人说，用它能召来天上美貌的仙女。”李一听便催着郭成显快快演法。郭却趁机搭起架子来，先让搭起法坛，周围布置，务求全套精致行头，挂红灯，围翠幔。一切布置就绪，方择日登坛演法。李家的侍妾和下属，纷纷或远或近地赶来观看。
且说郭成显在坛上作起法来，果然有四五位仙女跨骑赤色虬龙降在坛上。其中两位尤其美貌，清啭歌喉，唱起曲来。音节清脆，歌声如怨如慕，似讽似嘲，孜省手下的门客术士都听得呆了。忽然雷雨当空，风刮黄沙，满坛灯火一时吹灭，似乎狐精鼠怪趁机都跑了出来。一阵工夫，这一切又都消失，天际只有纤淡的云片，弯弯的月亮挂在檐头。隐约听到有呻吟声从法坛深处传来，点起灯烛一照，却见有四五个李家的侍妾，赤身裸体各跨着个傻大汉——都是李孜省搜罗来的术士——僵在那儿，家奴过去强扶他们进去。再看郭成显，还站在法坛上，满口糊涂话，正得意扬扬在作法呢。李孜省又羞又怒，提剑上去将郭斩为两段，抛尸在后花园池塘中，并严令家人不得外传。但这般丑事，哪有瞒得住的，第二天就传遍大街小巷了。
有个道士邓常恩，侥幸做到太常卿这一高官，他为人极为阴险狠毒，曾经暗害一人致死。那人阴魂不散，化为厉鬼，常在邓府作怪。邓在做道士时，就听说太行山西有位马仙翁，能用神箭射鬼，人们去求他，真是万试万灵。于是派徒弟陈歪儿去求马仙翁的箭术。
陈歪儿奉命上路，行至中途，碰见个道人，神态轩昂，手执长弓，腰插七箭(长弓寓“张”，七箭，寓“三丰”二字笔划七划)，自称能射鬼，百发百中。陈对他半信半疑，因是同路，且跟着同行。晚上，在一座破庙中过夜。这儿林深月黑，篁竹古木中传来啾啾鬼叫，陈歪儿十分惊怕，道人却说：“不用怕，你正好可以看我的神箭。”便在窗隙中一箭射出去，只听到那鬼哀号着逃去，陈这下大为钦服。次日早晨，叩头恳请道人传他法术。道人倒也慷慨，立即传给他神箭之术。
陈歪儿回来见师父，谎说：“马仙翁外出，寻找不到。幸而托师父的福，在路上遇见神仙传了箭术。”常恩听后大喜。这天夜间月色朦朦，府中花园鬼声又起，急忙让陈显一显他的神技。常恩自己则转过回廊，在对面楼上监视。陈戒备不懈，忽然见一鬼飞入对面楼上，陈便挽起强弓，一箭射去。箭声响处，只听大叫一声，有什么东西应弦而倒。忙点起烛火照看，却是邓常恩，幸而箭未中要害，只射伤了左臂。回头再找陈歪儿，早已逃之天天了。
