After a few years of buying up rice, his family was quite rich. Father felt strange, they asked him why, he will run their own business trading the truth said, the father sighed and said: "We do not have peers who do not use the amount out of the measurement of two sets of liters into the bucket, out of the liters into the bucket is light, but heavy, so as to thicken the profits. Although the government has two spring and fall inspection of measuring instruments, but there is no way to prohibit this kind of cheating. I have long felt that it is not right, so I have only one set of liter buckets, and I use it to measure both out and in. For a long time, I myself think that there is no bias and injustice.   There was a minister named Li Jue, who was released from his position as a minister and became the governor of Huainan. Li Jue, a rice seller, changed his name to Li Kuan because he shared the same name with the minister. A few months after his arrival, Li Jue gave alms to the Taoist congregation and held a fast. The scenery there was just in spring, with fireworks, luan and phoenix flying, white cranes dancing, colorful clouds in the sky, and pavilions on the ground.   Li Jue woke up in the morning, the things in the dream are still clearly remembered, the more he thought about it, the more he marveled at the strangeness of this matter. When he went to ask the Taoist priests, no one knew about the local Li Jue; and when he summoned the officials of Jiangyin to ask them, no one knew about it either. So ordered in the capital city inside and outside the same name with their own visit, haunted for a few days, in the alley residents in the search, only to know Li Kuan original name Jue. So he sent a car to welcome Li Kuan into his house, let him live in a pure room, and he himself bathed and fasted, and worshiped Kuan as "Brother Dao". The whole family worshipped Li Kuan and paid homage to him in the morning and evening. Li Kuan had a quiet disposition and a very good appearance, his beard was more than a foot long and pure white. It turned out that when he was sixty years old, a Taoist priest had taught him the art of fetal rest, and he had stopped eating grains for a long time. Li Jue therefore more respect. After more than a month, only to ask: "Dao brother life to get what Taoist techniques, refining what immortal medicine to take? Li Jue after repeated inquiries, sighed and said: "Your practice is really difficult for ordinary people to do, and the accumulation of Yin Gong is not comparable to others. So the world has got rich and noble, move will attract damage; in the poor and lowly, as long as the heart to help the people, the name will be on the immortal book. You are admonishing earthly people by your own behavior!

  Later, Li Kuan lived to be more than one hundred years old, and his health was extraordinary. One day he suddenly told his children and grandchildren, "I have been living on this earth for many years, and even though I have raised my qi and not eaten, I am of no benefit to you." He died that night. Three days after the great restoration, the coffin suddenly split open. When people looked at it, they saw that the sash had not yet been untied, but the body was not there, just like a cicada shedding its skin, so it turned out that he had already been disemboweled and gone.

  广陵江阴地方，有一位名叫李珏的，世代居住在城中，以贩米为业。然而李珏性格端正朴实，和平常人不同。十五岁跟着父亲贩米，父亲有事外出时，就让李珏掌管买卖。有人来籴米，李珏便拿出升斗让他自己量，不计较价贵贱，每斗只赚两文之利，从此赡养父母。这样积有岁月，但家财却颇丰饶。父亲觉得奇怪，便问他缘由，他将自己经营买卖的实情说了，父亲感叹说：“我们同行中没有不用量出量入两套升斗的，出的升斗轻，入的却重，借此增厚利润。虽然官府有春秋两次的检查量器，却没有办法禁断这类作弊。我早就觉得它不对，所以只有一套升斗，量出、量入都用它。长期来，自己认为没有偏颇不公。你现在更让买主自己量米，我的行为又及不上了。但这样做却财物仍然丰裕，岂不是神明帮助吗?”父母亡故 后，李珏活到八十多岁，仍然做他的老行当。

  且说有位相爷，也叫李珏，由相位外放，做淮南节度使。卖米的李珏，因为和节度使同姓名，便改名为李宽。节度使李珏到任后几个月，布施道众，举行斋会。第二夜，梦见自己进入一个洞府。那里的景色正当春季，烟花烂漫，鸾凤飞翔，白鹤起舞，天上彩云瑞霞，地上楼阁连成一片。李珏一个人在洞中漫步，见石壁十分光洁莹亮，上有嵌金大字，列着姓名，内有“李珏”，字长二尺余。珏一见高兴极了，自以为生在政治清明的朝代，多年经历显赫的官位，直至做到宰相，难道没有德泽惠及天下吗?现在洞府列上姓名，我一定是成了仙人了。越想越是高兴。正在兴头上，石壁左右跑出来两个仙童。李珏忙问：“这是哪里?”仙童答道。“这儿是华阳洞天。只是石壁上的名字，并非相爷”。李珏听了一惊，忙问：“既然不是我这个李珏，那么他又是哪里人呢?”仙童答道：“他是相爷属下江阴地方的一个居民。”

  李珏早晨醒来，梦中的事情仍清楚记得，越想越惊叹这事的奇怪。去询问道士，没有人知道当地的李珏；再召江阴的官员来问，也没有人知道。于是下令在府城内外访求与自己同姓名的，闹腾了几天，在里巷居民中寻访，才知道李宽原来名珏。于是派车将李宽迎进府中，让他居在净室，自己则沐浴斋戒，拜宽为“道兄”。一家人都敬奉李宽，早晚按时行参拜之礼。李宽向采性情恬淡，道貌非常之 好，胡须长有尺余，纯白可爱。原来他六十岁时，曾有道士教他胎息术，久已不吃五谷了。李珏因此更加礼敬。过了一月有余，才询问说：“道兄平生得到什么道术，炼什么仙药服用?我曾梦入洞府，见石壁上刻着您的名字，经仙童指点，才寻访到您，迎来府中拜为师父，望您将仙术传授给我。”李宽忙推辞说自己真的不懂仙术和炼药一类事。李珏虔诚再拜请教：“那么您修的是什么呢?”宽便以“愚　。

  民不知修些什么，只是贩米为生”等等实情相告。李珏再三询问之后，叹息说：“您的做法确是平常人很难做到的，积的阴功是别人及不上的。所以世上得了富贵的，动不动就会招来损伤；处在贫贱的，只要用心帮助民众，姓名就会登上仙籍。您是以自己的行为来告诫尘俗中人呀!

  后来李宽活到一百多岁，行动轻捷身体健康异乎寻常。一天忽然告诉子孙说：“我寄栖在世上多年，虽然养气不吃饭，但对你们也没什么益处。”当晚便死了。大敛后三天，棺木忽然裂开。众人一看，衣带尚未解开，尸体却不在，就像蝉蜕皮似的，原来他已尸解仙去了。
