Yunanjing is a place where there is a tributary of the Yangtze River, which is thirty miles long. The 15 miles near the well, the water is as clear as a mirror, there is no risk for ships to come and go; the 15 miles near the river, are rocky and dangerous, it is difficult to travel. Yunan well there is a high Taoist Zhai Qianhu Tianshi, want to relieve the traders, travelers to and from the hard work and danger, they Han Cheng mountain for the law to call the group of dragons to the altar, the results of the fourteen places in the Dragon, are turned into an old man before picking up to listen to orders. Zhai Tianshi told them: "The dangerous shoals and waves are fierce and dangerous to the people. Please ask each dragon god to level the section of the river under his jurisdiction." That night, the wind and thunder shook and bombarded the river, and on the next day, the 14 miles of river bank were turned into a flat pool; only one dangerous bank remained, and the dragon god there did not go to the altar. Zhai Tianshi was furious and ordered the gods and goddesses to go after the dragon god. After three days, a woman came to the altar. It turned out that she was the dragon god to be chased. Zhai Tianshi scolded her for not obeying the call, and the woman said, "The reason why I didn't come is that I want to help Tianshi expand the merit of relieving the people. Think about it, rich merchants have more than enough money; those who are hired to carry things have less than enough money. Many of Yunan's poor people rely on the river to carry goods to Jingtan to support their families. Now, if the river is completely leveled and the light boats are fast, then the poor people in the area will not have the opportunity to be hired to carry their goods, and their food and clothing will be cut off, and they will suffer a lot of hardship. I would rather let the dangerous shoals and rough waves cause the opportunity to make money from portering than let the convenience of the boats make the rich merchants feel at ease, so I don't come to answer the call, and herein lies the reason." Zhai Tianshi found her words reasonable, so he summoned fourteen more Dragon Gods and ordered them to restore the river to its old state. In an instant the wind and thunder roared, and the riverbed was restored to its old state.

     云安井这个地方，有一条长江的支流，长三十里。近井的这十五里，水清澄如明镜，船只来往没有风险；近江的那十五里，都是乱石险滩，难以行船。云安井有位高道翟乾祜天师，想解除往来商人、旅客的辛劳与危险，便汉城山上作起法来，召群龙赴坛，结果十四处的神龙，都化成老人前采听命。翟天师告诉他们：“险滩波涛凶恶，危害劳顿百姓。请各龙神平整自己所辖的河段。”这一夜之间，风雷震动轰击着河流，次日一看，十四里河滩都化为平潭；唯独一处险滩依旧，那处的龙神也没有赴坛。翟天师大怒，严令神兵神将去追捉那龙神。过了三天，才有一位女子赴坛。原来她便是要追捉的龙神。翟天师责备她不服应召，女子说：“我之所以不来，是想帮助天师拓广救济民众的功德呀。你想，富商大贾，财力有余；受雇搬运的，财力都不足。云安的穷人，有许多是靠从江口挑运货物到井潭养家糊口的。现在如果江河全部平整，轻快的舟船快速行驰，那么，地方上的穷人，没有受雇搬运的机会，衣食的来路都断了，遭到的困苦可就多了。我宁愿让险滩汹波造成搬运挣钱的机会，不可让舟船便利使富商安心，所以不来应召，道理就在这里。”翟天师觉得她的话有理，于是再召十四处龙神，令他们将河恢复旧貌。顷刻之间风雷轰鸣，河床恢复了旧貌。
