The sutra says

    The compassionate Buddha descends to the Dharma Realm to liberate the souls of the long night.

    To avoid the suffering of reincarnation, the masses turn to the Celestial Emperor.

Praise in the middle hall

    The blue lotus is wonderful and solemn, with a thousand benevolent expressions. He lives in the Hall of Eternal Bliss, seated on a golden lotus.

    The light of wisdom shines without obstruction, illuminating the dark springs. The nectar flows and moistens, spreading throughout the void and the profound.

    The withered bones of the dead are now shining. They are rescued  from the cold abyss.

    Please ask the heavenly officials to relieve the suffering of the heavens, the earthly officials to relieve the suffering of the earth, the water officials to relieve the suffering of the water. The five emperors to relieve the suffering of the five directions, the four saints to relieve the suffering of the four seasons, the southern emperor to relieve the suffering of the life cycle, and the Big Dipper to relieve all suffering.

    Thus the seven heavenly lords, the great sage, are good at communicating with spirits. They save all those in distress and transcend the suffering of living beings. If there is an urgent message, recite the words to ensure peace. Rely on the blessings of life to form a covenant with the five elements. The three souls are safe and sound, and evil spirits cannot stop. The five directions bring true qi, and blessings come from all sides. Longevity surpasses the eight difficulties, all because of the worship of the seven stars. The body is free and the mind is clear from generation to generation. Goodness is like a shadow in the light, and response is like a sound in the valley. The three gods protect, the eyes of the gods are bright. No disasters or obstacles. Always keep the heart of the Taoist.

    The Treasure of Gratitude

    Devotedly surrendering to the Buddha

    The mysterious source of all things, the martial arts god of truth, has mercy on all living beings, and grants them liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Our parents carried us in their wombs for ten months. They breastfed us for three years, enduring a thousand hardships. They have been diligent and caring, and have loved us unconditionally. Now I hold the thought of equality, and I will eliminate all dangerous and fierce thoughts of greed and anger. I will worship the emperor as my teacher, and pray for grace and gratitude. I wish my parents now, happiness and longevity, and my ancestors in the past, to be liberated from the cycle of birth and death. Great saint, great kindness, great benevolence, great filial piety. Eighty-two transformations, repaying the kindness of the Lord of the Teachings, blessing the holy Zhenwu, the god of good fortune, the Jade Emperor, the Supreme Emperor of the Dark Heaven, the incarnation of the Golden Palace, the Supreme Lord of the End of the World, relieving suffering.

    Twelve Wishes

    One wish for good weather and good harvest. Two wishes for the longevity of the emperor. Three wishes for peace and prosperity in the country. Four wishes for the safety of the people and the abundance of goods. Five wishes for good fortune and longevity. Six wishes for the elimination of disasters and calamities. Seven wishes for the elimination of disasters and calamities. Eight wishes for the elimination of disasters and calamities. Nine wishes for wisdom and intelligence. Ten wishes for the realization of the Dao. Eleven wishes for the protection of the gods. Twelve wishes for the ascension of the deceased.

    All birds and beasts, all ants, snakes and insects, all enemies and creditors, all male and female spirits. All beings in the four realms and six paths, all cold spirits, listen to the sutra and the Dharma, and be liberated early. (Three times)

  知表吟偈

  慈尊降法界，普度长夜魂。

  欲免轮回苦，大众转天尊。

  转念

  寻声赴惑太乙救苦天尊

  转念回坛跪诵

  中堂赞

  青华妙严，慈相亿千。身居长乐，尊座金莲。

  慧光无碍，照诸幽泉。甘露流润，遍洒空玄。

  朽骸枯骨，成得光鲜。拔度沉溺，不滞寒渊。

  上请天官解天厄，地官解地厄，水官解水厄。五帝解五方厄，四圣解四时厄，南宸解本命厄，北斗解一切厄。

  于是七元君，大圣善通灵。济度诸厄难，超出苦众生。若有急告者，持诵保安平。尽凭生百福，成契于五行。三魂得安健，邪魅不能停。五方降真炁，万福自来骈。长生超八难，皆由奉七星。生生身自在，世世保神清。善似光中影，应如谷里声。三元神共护，万圣眼同明。无灾亦无障。永保道心宁。

  报恩宝诰

  志心皈命礼

  玄元应化，武曲分真，垂念我等众生，有相脱生。父母怀胎十月。乳哺三年，辛苦百千， 殷勤寸念，怜我父母，日渐衰朽。我今持念平等，悉灭险峻贪嗔，礼帝为师，祈恩报本。 愿我现在父母，福寿增延，过去宗祖，早得超生，大圣大慈，大仁大孝。八十二化， 报恩教主，佑圣真武 治世福神，玉虚师相，玄天上帝。金阙化身，终劫济苦天尊。

  十二愿

  一愿风调雨顺 ，二愿五谷丰登。三愿皇王万寿， 四愿国土清平。五愿民安物丰，六愿福寿康宁。七愿灾消祸散，八愿水火无侵。九愿聪明智慧，十愿学道成真。十一愿诸神拥护，十二愿亡者超升。

  一切飞禽走兽，一切蝼蚁蛇虫，一切冤家债主，一切男女孤魂。四生六道，一切寒林，闻经听法，早得超升。（三遍）
