《易》曰：“积善之家，必有余庆。积不善之家，必有余殃。”《书》曰：“作善，降之百祥。作不善，降之百殃。”又曰：“天作孽，犹可违。自作孽，不可活。”《 参同 契》曰：“初正则终修，干立末可持。”正阳翁曰：“种麻即得麻，种 黍 即得黍。”此皆言有因必有果，凡事谨之于始，自能全之于终也。盖天地间一切大小事务，皆有因果。善有善之因果，恶有恶之因果。为善者，必有善报；为恶者，必有恶报。为善者，善之因也；善报者，善之果也；为恶者，恶之因也；恶报者，恶之果也。善恶之报，如影随形，毫发不爽。故君子戒慎乎其所不睹，恐惧乎其所不闻，念念归善，不使有一些恶念生于方寸之中。非礼不履，非义不行，行行皆善，不使有一件恶行见于日用之间。念念善，行行善，因善，而果未有不善者也。试观世间杀人者偿人命，救人者人报恩，感以善，应以善；感以恶，应以恶。此感彼应，有因有果，自然而然。所谓一念之善，便是天堂；一念之恶，便是地狱。天堂地狱，惟人自造。孟子曰：“祸福无不自己求之者。”老子曰：“祸福无门，惟人自招。”观此而因果之理，岂不显然易见哉？世间糊涂学人，不信因果，损人利己，伤天害理，无所不为。或骗化十方，以为得计；或假装有道，以哄愚迷；或借 黄白 假术，而破人家产；或以 闺丹 邪事，而引人作恶；或枉口嚼舌，而毁谤高明；或阴谋暗箭，而坏人好事。诸如此类，皆是不信因果。殊不知作善作恶，是修结果之路。修成善路，异日造物者送你善路上去享福；修成恶路，异日造物者送你去恶路上去受罪。谚云：“要知前世事，今生受者是。要知后世事，今生作者是。”此言真实不虚，不信来世，试观现世。现世少年作善者，老年享福；少年作恶者，老年受罪。此人人共知共见者也。吾劝真心学道者，速将因果关口打通，一念一事，须要谨慎，一动一静，不可忽略。先学一个不作孽不造罪的好人，然后理会大事，以图上进，庶乎有造。若因果不论，即要学道，又要作孽，明知明昧，罪上加罪。妄想闻道，难矣！

A family that accumulates bad deeds will have more disasters.” The Book says, “Do good and you will be blessed with a hundred blessings. Do not good, descending a hundred disasters.” It also says, “If God does something bad, it can be disobeyed. Self-inflicted sins, can not live.” The reference to the Tongqi said: “The first positive is the final repqi, dry standing end can hold.” Zhengyang Weng said, “Planting hemp means getting hemp, and planting corn means getting corn.” All of this is to say that there is a cause and effect, everything is careful in the beginning, since the whole in the end also. All matters of all sizes in heaven and earth have causes and effects. The cause and effect of good has its own cause and effect, and the cause and effect of evil has its own cause and effect. Those who do good will be rewarded with good; those who do evil will be rewarded with evil. Those who do good are the cause of good; those who reward good are the result of good; those who do evil are the cause of evil; those who reward evil are the result of evil. The reward of good and evil, like a shadow, hqis. Therefore, a gentleman should be cautious of what he doesn't see, fear what he doesn't hear, think of the good, and don't let some evil thoughts be born in the square inch. He will not fulfill any rite, he will not do anything that is not right, he will do everything that is good, and he will not let any evil act be seen in his daily life. Thinking good, doing good, because of good, and the result is not bad. Try to look at the world killers to pay for human life, save people people to repay the kindness, feeling to good, should be good; feeling to evil, should be evil. This sense of response, cause and effect, natural. The so-called one thought of good is heaven; one thought of evil is hell. Heaven and hell are created by people themselves. Mencius said: “There is no one who does not seek his own misfortune or happiness.” Lao Zi said: “Woe and fortune have no door, but the man himself.” View this and the reasoning of cause and effect, is not obvious and easy to see? The world confused learners, do not believe in cause and effect, harming people and self-interest, harming heaven and earth, do everything. Or cheat the ten directions, thinking that they can win; or pretend to have the way to coax fools; or borrow the yellow and white false arts, and break people's families; or with the boudoir of the evil things, and attract people to do evil; or chewing on the tongue in vain, and slandering the high and wise; or plotting and arrows, and bad people and good things. All of these things are due to a lack of belief in cause and effect. I don't realize that doing good and doing evil is the way to cultivate results. Repqi into a good road, the future Creator to send you to enjoy the blessings of the good road; repqi into the evil road, the future Creator to send you to the evil road to suffer. Proverb: “If you want to know what happened in your past life, you have to suffer in this life. If you want to know what will happen in the next life, the author of this life is the author.” If you don't believe in the next life, try to look at the present life. In this world, those who do good in their youth will enjoy happiness in their old age; those who do evil in their youth will suffer in their old age. This is a common knowledge and common sense. I advise sincere learners, quickly will cause and effect pass through the gate, a thought a matter, must be careful, a movement a quiet, can not be ignored. First learn a good man who does not commit sins and sins, and then pay attention to the big things in order to make progress, so that there is a creation. If cause and effect regardless, that is, to learn the Way, but also to sin, knowingly, knowingly, adding sin to sin. It is difficult to hear the Way in a delusional way!
